SimplyTalk — Privacy Policy

SimplyTalk ("we", "us") is a real-time multilingual messaging application that translates text and voice between users speaking different languages. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the third-party services we rely on.

Your phone number is passed to Twilio, through Supabase, for the sole purpose of delivering the one-time verification code you requested. Twilio processes it as our messaging provider under its own privacy terms. We do not sell, rent or share your number with anyone else, and we never share your messaging consent or opt-in data with third parties for their own purposes.

To deliver translation features, your message text and voice audio are processed by the following providers under their own privacy terms:

Text messages are stored on Supabase until you delete them. Voice audio is ephemeral and not persisted. Account data is kept while your account is active and removed within 30 days of account deletion.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us at the address below.

6. Children

SimplyTalk is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Beta / TestFlight

If you are using SimplyTalk through Apple TestFlight, the service is provided "as is" for testing purposes. Bugs and crashes are expected and may be reported automatically to TestFlight.
